The Riverside Hotel (AAA+) enjoys a fabulous riverside location in the centre of Kendal making it an ideal base from which to explore the Lake District whatever the season. The shops and attractions within Kendal are merely a short walk across the bridge. Each of the 47 bedrooms enjoys a great river view and there is also an indoor leisure club with swimming pool. The hotel has a lift to all floors and though this is accessed via some steps, there is also a chair lift available.
